Queen Guesthouse
a west coast log house situated on a quiet
side street in the Sandpiper Beach neighbourhood.

The main floor studio or one bedroom, features a fully
equipped kitchen, dining area, a presto-log burning fireplace,
cable TV, two couches and a queen size bed.

The 25' by 10' deck faces south into a well treed, somewhat
rustic, yard that gets sunshine all day.
|
|
The loft studio features a TV, VCR, and a 3/4 sized bed.
The north facing deck is 14' by 16' with towering trees that
gets sun in the morning and late afternoon. There is a kettle
and a few dishes but no kitchen.

In the common area of the guesthouse there is a phone for
local calls. Cellphones work in the driveway butnot within
the house.
|
|
The co-op store is a 2 mile drive north, and the Ford Cove
Store is 2 miles south.
|
Best low tides for beachcombing or exploring
occur between
April and early September.
The popular Hornby Festival
takes place in early August.
