         Hornby Island is one of the spectacular and protected northern Gulf
 Islands on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. It is a place where

         As you glide through the water in your kayak, you will be amazed at the
 striking features of Hornby Island. The sandstone cliffs and conglomerate
 rock formations provide a perfect backdrop for ocean kayaking (see photos).
 Stop at exquisite beaches, and visit small islands. Depending on the time of
 the year, you will see a wide variety of wildlife including: sea mammals,
 diverse inter-tidal life and sea birds.
