Facilities

Facilities at the Centre include:

- three autonomous camping areas (2 areas for 30 campers each and one area for 60), each site has; a private tenting area, pit toilets, a large cook shelter (providing a propane cooking stove, eating area, lockable food storage area with a refrigerator), picnic tables, a wash-up area with cold water (treated) taps, separate beach access path and a central meeting area with a fire pit.

-a historic lodge which includes: a commercial kitchen (catered meals available), accessible washrooms, office space, dining area, large meeting area with stone fireplace and large deck with a view of Tribune Bay.

Having fun on the ropes-a recreation building with power and a wood stove.

-two sleeping dorms (wheel chair accessible), designed to sleep 15 people each (platform bunks) with a separate leader room (single bunks) and wash-up area. There is one other convertible sleeping cabin available for 12 people.

-a rustic barn and covered dry space that has a large meeting area with riser seating and a covered dry space.

-a shower facility (wheel chair accessible), the shower is a ‘pay shower’ to help us conserve water.

-a 50 foot high climbing tower with three different climbing and rappelling faces.

- a 30 foot -high ropes (7 connected and two stand alone) and low ropes (5 element) challenge course.

-three staff accommodation cabins and a Managers’ residence and office.
