Dale’s Hideaway

This bright and lovely two-bedroom home offers a great place for family or friends to gather in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

The upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a double bed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is also a hide-a-bed in the living room.

The spacious lawn is big enough for badminton, or croquet, furnished. It has an adult and a child’s picnic tables, and a patio table and chairs with sunbrellas. There is an outdoor fireplace, with fire hose, wood furnished. As long as the Fire Department allows fires, so do I!

Area Attractions

Enjoy Hornby Island from a quiet, central location. Five acres of meadow and trees. 20 minute walk to Big or Little Tribune Bay or a 15 minute walk to Sandpiper Beach.

Children and well mannered pets are welcome. We ask that owners are conscientious about the neighbourhood cats and deer which also live on the property. It is also expected that the yard is left clean for the next guests.

Cell phone coverage on Hornby Island is spotty, some cell phones work at my house, but not usually. Therefore, the house has a phone with free long distance calling to the US and Canada, 24/7.

This house is furnished right down to dish soap, toilet paper, cards, board games, dog and beach toys. I’ve set it up so that you can arrive by airplane with just a suitcase and everything you need except food is there. The island has a good grocery store.
