Waterfront at Whaling Station Bay

This extensive rancher overlooks the sandy beaches of Whaling Station Bay. A short walk out the front door brings you immediately to a sandstone plateau that surrounds the sands of the bay. There is easy access to the bay directly below the house or one can follow the shoreline to the high tide mark.

The house is set up to suit 2 families sharing. There is a North wing with 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom is roomy with a queen size bed and a deck overlooking the ocean. It has an en suite bathroom with tub and shower. The second bedroom has a set of single bunk beds.

The South wing has 2 bedrooms as well. The master bedroom is cozy with a queen size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed below with a single bunk above. There is a separate bathroom with shower that is available for this side of the house.

The large wooden deck overlooking the water holds a patio table and assorted chairs for enjoying morning beverages with the sunrise. A few steps down brings you to a well placed wooden bench allowing you a full view of the beach and shoreline.

Paved parking for two cars. Large grassy backyard suitable for badminton, volleyball and entertaining.

Bedding and towels are included (except beach towels).

The shared kitchen/living area is open and airy. A large bay window overlooks the waters and a large wrap around kitchen island separates the kitchen from the living room, but allows a great ambiance for entertaining. The dining room table opens up to seat 8 and there is additional seating at the island. There are two patio doors that take you out to a deck extending the length of the front of the house.

There is a telephone for local calls, long distance calls would be an additional fee. The kitchen is fully equipped. Drinking water is provided through our community well. Wash water is piped in from a cistern that collects rain water over the course of the year, please use it sparingly. There are notices of saving techniques posted throughout the house.
