Mountain Biking
The mountain giving Hornby Island its iconic shape also contains some the best biking trails in BC. From slick single-track to cliff-side trails with an ocean view, there are trails to suit every level of rider.
Hydrobiking
A combination of kayaking and biking, hydrobikes are a unique and innovative human powered bike that travels on water. We are excited to bring this fun, environmentally friendly way to explore the waters around Hornby Island.
Kayaking
Situated in the calm protected waters of the Georgia Strait between the mainland and Vancouver Island, Hornby is an excellent place to experience ocean kayaking. Depending on the time of year, you will see eagles, seals, sea lions, whales, interesting intertidal life and diverse bird species.
Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Centre
Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Centre offers outdoor educational programs for youth and specialized groups. Programs include climbing, high ropes courses, team building activities, kayaking, marine study boat, and much more.
Deerheart Sanctuary
