Missed the last ferry? Don’t want to wait in ferry line ups? Want to get to Hornby in less than 15 minutes from Deep Bay on Vancouver Island, or in less than a hour from Comox? These are just some of the options offered.

Rates (either to or from Fords Cove on Hornby Island, same for up to 5 people, includes reasonable amount of luggage,
all prices subject to HST)

  • Denman Island Gravelly Bay – $60
  • Denman Island West – $125
  • Fanny Bay – $125
  • Deep Bay – $80
  • Buckley Bay – $125
  • Comox Harbour – $175

Fishing Charters








Stalk the wily salmon, jig for ling cod, red snapper and rock cod, catch prawns and crabs, dig for clams or pick some oysters. A fishing trip with Jim can offer all these activities.

Rates: $75/hour for up to 5 people. 3 hour minimum charter. Best deal is a 4 hour charter for $275. All prices subject to HST.

Sight Seeing Tours







Sit back and enjoy the view of surrounding islands and points of interest. There are several different marine mammals that live around Hornby Island including Harbour Seals, California Sea Lions, Stellar Sea Lions, the occassional Elephant Seal, Orcas (Killer Whales), the occassional Grey Whale, and dozens of marine bird species.

Rates: $75/hour for up to 5 people. Two hour minimum tour. All prices subject to HST.
