Community Services on Hornby

Hornby Island is a community that likes to do-it-yourself. From building our own Health Clinic, Recycling Centre and 'Room-to-Grow' at the School, to providing our own arts and entertainment, we do it all! Here is a sampling of our many community organizations: Hornby Recycles!
Opened in 1978, The Hornby Island Recycling Depot is now celebrating 30 years of recycling. We recycle and reuse more than 70% of our waste stream. Visit the Free Store!
